Looking for a day of free family fun and activities during the school holidays?
The Fremantle Dockers and Cockburn ARC are celebrating the New Year and embracing summer by joining together to host a School Holiday Footy Splash.
The new collaborative event will take place on Wednesday 18 January between 3pm and 6pm across Victor George Kailis Oval and the Cockburn ARC aquatic area and basketball courts.
Select Fremantle Dockers AFL players will also be making appearances across the afternoon for fans between 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
There will be a wide range of pool-based activities throughout the afternoon to keep the kids cool as well as an inflatable obstacle course, footy activities, DJ, face painting, mascots, Freo player signings and food trucks for those who’d rather have their fun in the sun on the oval.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
- Waterslides and pool access will be free during the event, please click the link here to view rules and information about the ARC waterslides.
- Wheelchair, pram and pedestrian access will be available via Remembrance Ave.
- Get down early as parking may be limited
- Slip, slop, slap, seek and slide!
