Corey Wagner was on both North Melbourne and Melbourne's list and played some solid footy in his time at AFL level.

He's been at Port Melbourne in the VFL the last two years and has continued to improve, where he had an exceptional back-end of the 2022 season after moving to HB.

He impressed with his ability to defend first and generate offensively. He is creative with ball in hand, carries the footy and changes angles well.

Wagner has elite endurance and this also allows him to be quite versatile, having also demonstrated the ability to play wing, half forward and through the midfield.
