Fremantle president Steve Harris last night confirmed that director Jenn Morris would be vacating her board position.
The dual Olympic gold medallist has served two three-year terms on the board.
“Due to work and personal commitments Jenn Morris, who was appointed in December 2009, has decided not to seek a further three-year term,” Harris told the club’s Annual Members’ Meeting at Fremantle Oval.
Harris also farewelled outgoing board members Brian O’Donnell and Ben Allan.
“Brian, who was appointed to the board in February 2006, and Ben, who commenced his term as a member-elected director in December 2005, have both served the maximum time allowed under the club’s constitution,” Harris said.
“During their tenure both were members of key sub-committees, including Brian on our finance, audit, integrity and risk committee and Ben on our list management committee.
“All three directors have made invaluable contributions to the growth and progress of the club during what, in the future, will be regarded as one of the most pivotal periods in Fremantle’s short history in the AFL.
“We take this opportunity to thank Ben, Brian and Jenn for their leadership and dedication and wish them all the very best for the future.”
Director Dale Alcock was voted in as vice president, replacing departing board member Allan.
