What’s your business?
Shelford Constructions. We have both housing and commercial divisions. We build quality homes, catering for all needs from first home owners to exclusive residences. We also undertake a wide variety of commercial construction work.
How long have you been a corporate partner of the club?
We signed up in 2009.
Why are you a corporate partner of the Freo Dockers?
We are based south of the river, and have many Freo supporters within the company. We are proud to align our company with the Fremantle Football Club and its ethos of hard work, passion, striving for the best and supporting the community.
What corporate package do you have with the club at Optus Stadium and why have you chosen this?
We have a corporate suite to host our employees and business associates. It’s good to reward our staff with a day at the footy. Our company also has signage around Optus Stadium on game day. It gives everyone in our company a sense of pride to see our name up in lights at the Fremantle Dockers games. It is also a fantastic way to promote Shelford. We also have three player sponsorship packages. Shelford sponsored players are Michael Walters, Ed Langdon and Cam McCarthy. Our corporate sponsorship gives us the opportunity to get involved in great club functions and events.
What player are you most excited about seeing this year?
We are excited to see midfielder Ed Langdon firing. His resilience and get up and go is inspiring.
What are you most excited about at Optus Stadium?
The stadium and its facilities are spectacular and a great asset for WA. Our passion is building, and we have a great appreciation of Optus Stadium, which is a state-of-the-art multi purpose facility. Along with great viewing and a great game day experience, the stadium has created a sense of pride, excitement and optimism within all West Australians. The footy experience has never been better.
