Fremantle Docker Harley Bennell has played his first WAFL game of 2018, gathering nine disposals in Peel’s 20-point victory over Claremont.
Having limited game time, Bennell took three marks, laid two tackles, and applied strong pressure in Peel’s forward 50.
Bennell looked classy with the football in his first game since Round 22 of last year for Fremantle.
During the week, Fremantle coach Ross Lyon said Bennell will be eased back into football with increased game time across a solid month of WAFL.
“It is potentially a four-week build to playing senior football,” Lyon said.
“It will probably go 50, 70, 90 per cent.”
