Fremantle have made two changes, including a debutant, to their line-up for Friday night’s round three clash with the Western Bulldogs at Ikon Park.
Fremantle’s fifth AFLW debutant of Season 7 Tara Stribley will play her first game in purple, while lockdown defender Jess Low returns after completing the AFL’s concussion protocols.
The pair replace injured midfielder Gabby O’Sullivan and the omitted Roxy Roux in the side.
Stribley’s debut news was broken to the team ahead of Thursday’s flight to Melbourne, with the 18-year-old elevated to the starting side after being named as an emergency against Geelong last weekend.
Meanwhile, Low returns after exiting the AFL’s concussion protocols following a nasty head clash with Janelle Cuthbertson in Freo’s season opener against Brisbane.
O’Sullivan is expected to miss one game after hamstring tightness in her right leg saw the midfielder play no further part after half-time in Freo’s loss to Geelong last weekend.
The match will also mark the 25th game milestones of Sarah Verrier and Philipa Seth.
Bouncedown for the clash is at 5.10pm (3.10pm WST) at Ikon Park and will be broadcast live nationally on 7Mate and Fox Footy.
The game can also be streamed live on Kayo or the official AFL Women’s app.
