Luke McPharlin and Alex Pearce could both line up for Fremantle against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

Pearce debuted last week in place of McPharlin who was ruled out due to calf soreness.

Senior coach Ross Lyon said both have been included in a 25-man squad that will fly to Melbourne on Friday.

Lyon said McPharlin would train on Friday, and if all goes well, would play.

“If he gets through training he’ll play, so we just have to tick that box,” he said.

However, Lyon said McPharlin’s inclusion would not necessarily leave Pearce out of the side after his impressive first game last round.

“They have three tall forwards in Stringer, Crameri and Boyd,” he said.

“There is an opportunity to play three (talls), no doubt.”

Fremantle play the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 17 May. Bounce down is at 1.10pm local time.
