We’re celebrating Retro Round with Perth band End Of Fashion thanks to 92.9 Triple M.
Fans will be treated to a pre-game show from the pop rock band consisting of frontman, Justin Burford, guitarist Julian Dudman (The Sleepy Jackson), bassist Vanessa Thornton (Jebadiah), and drummer Nick Dudman.
End of Fashion began its decades-spanning career in 2003, from a little garage in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Their 2004 Rough Diamonds EP was the highest selling Australian EP of all time, followed quickly by the enormously successful Too Careful EP.
In 2005, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2005, which was a huge success and saw the band touring Australia, taking part in US festivals and securing a record deal.
The album achieved platinum sales in Australia while the lead single “O Yeah” would go on to place number seven in the lauded triple J Hottest 100 of that year.
Their follow up album 'Book of Lies' also received enormous airplay, while the band would continue to cement themselves as one Australia’s best live rock and roll exports.
After some time away from the spotlight, End of Fashion returned in 2020 with a brand new single “Breakthru.”
The song’s music video quickly became a festival darling, picking up multiple awards and nominations and attracting both old and new fans to their highly successful shows that have evolved to showcase the mastery of their instruments and their love of the stage.
With this newfound momentum, End of Fashion are back doing what they love; playing blistering sets across the country, showcasing exciting new material to hungry audiences, and working tirelessly on a new full-length album. The future of End of Fashion looks very bright indeed.
The band will be playing a variety of their classics and new songs including the hit single “O Yeah” which has amassed over four million streams and won two ARIA Music Awards for “Breakthrough Artist” and “Best Video”.
