Matt Taberner is set to run out against St Kilda with Fremantle naming an unchanged lineup for Saturday night’s clash at Marvel Stadium.
Taberner was in doubt after coming off late against Port Adelaide with a hamstring concern, however scans mid week gave the key forward the all clear.
It is the first time Fremantle have named an unchanged team this season, however Bailey Banfield is technically an omission after replacing Taberner in round 16 against the Power.
Liam Henry has come in as an emergency after recovering from a hamstring injury and is joined by Banfield, Mitch Crowden and Lloyd Meek in the squad.
One of the four will be named as a medical sub an hour before bouncedown.
The non-selection of Heath Chapman means he will instead make his return from a hamstring injury for Peel against West Perth on Saturday after Senior Coach Justin Longmuir confirmed that Chapman was fit to play.
“Chappy will play this week,” Longmuir said on Wednesday.
“We’ll wait for him to get through training before we decide where he plays. He’s been out of footy for five weeks now, so that’s a pretty long period of time.”
The game will be Caleb Serong's 50th after the no.8 pick made his debut in round four of the 2020 season.
Bouncedown for the clash is at 7.25pm EST (5.25pm WST) and will be broadcast live into WA on 7mate, Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.
