Fremantle legend David Mundy will tick off another big milestone with his next AFL appearance, set to be when Fremantle take on Carlton in round 15 at Marvel Stadium.
In that game, Mundy will play his 366th AFL game, seeing him enter the top 10 for all time games played by AFL/VFL players, alongside Bernie Quinlan, who played 177 games for Footscray between 1969 and 1977 and 189 for Fitzroy between 1978 and 1986.
Mundy will then become the outright 10th player when Fremantle face Port Adelaide in round 16.
He will also be the only active player in the top 10, with North Melbourne's Brent Harvey holding the all time record of 432 games.

If Mundy continues to play every game this season, he will equal Adam Goodes' 372 games in round 21 against the Western Bulldogs and move into outright ninth in the round 22 RAC Derby.
The 36-year-old could also move as high as equal seventh in the all time list if Fremantle qualify and go deep into the 2022 AFL Finals Series.
Earlier this season, Senior Coach Justin Longmuir praised Mundy for how hard he continues to work on his football.
“He's just a true professional, you don't get to this stage and playing at his age without being a true professional,” Longmuir said.
“The thing that I've noticed about him is he's really still invested in the footy club and his footy. I think sometimes when you get towards the end of your career, you can cut a few corners and don't think you need to do as much or sometimes become less invested in the day to day of the footy club.
“He's fully invested and I wouldn't be surprised if he's got another couple of years left in him.”
Mundy is the only WA-based player in the top 10, however the above list takes into account AFL/VFL games only.
The WAFL record for games played is 371 by West Perth's Mel Whinnen between 1960 and 1977 with fellow Falcon Bill Dempsey second with 343 games.
When combining WAFL and VFL/AFL games played, the standalone leader is Barry Cable.
Cable has 268 WAFL games to his name with 225 played for Perth and 43 for East Perth. He also played 115 for North Melbourne and has 21 state representative games to his name with 20 for WA and one for Victoria, bringing his total to 404 games.
