North Melbourne hard nut Jed Anderson will feature in his first match for the season against Fremantle on Friday night.
The 28-year-old is one of four changes to the team that faced Carlton last Saturday evening.
SEE HOW FREMANTLE WILL LINE-UP
Key back Aidan Corr will return to the team having missed the last game through illness, not under health and safety protocols as first reported.
Corr will be partnered by Ben McKay, who has served his one-match suspension for rough conduct.
Small defender Atu Bosenavulagi rounds out the inclusions.
Nick Larkey will miss the game, having been suspended for tunnelling Blues defender Lewis Young last Saturday night.
It leaves skipper Jack Ziebell and Cam Zurhaar, who play above their respective 188cm and 189cm statures, to straighten up a small forward line, with help from the rucks.
A hamstring injury has put a line through Aiden Bonar, who will be disappointed to have been hampered so soon after a gritty performance as a makeshift key defender.
Miller Bergman has also made way after he suffered a shoulder injury on the very first possession of his AFL career, while small forward Jack Mahony has been omitted.
