Fremantle’s Dana Hooker, Kara Donnellan and Ebony Antonio have earned top-10 finishes in the 2018 Shadforth AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year award.
Dana Hooker has backed up her superb 2017 season with a 5th palced finish, earning 32 votes from the coaches, who allocate votes on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis after every game.
Donnellan finished eighth with 26 votes while Antonio was 10th with 24 votes.
Hooker’s quick rise up the standings was on the back of earning nine votes against Adelaide in round six and the maximum 10 votes against Carlton in round seven.
Emma Kearney (Western Bulldogs) and Chelsea Randall (Adelaide Crows) were the joint winners with 42 votes.
