Fremantle have secured the services of Jaymie Graham, with the former West Coast player and assistant coach joining the Club as the new forward line assistant coach.

Graham has significant playing and coaching experience in the AFL and WAFL. He joins Fremantle from the Eagles where he was the forwards coach between 2017 and 2019 and the backline coach for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

He took the reins at West Coast for one game in 2018 – a 54-point win against the Western Bulldogs - when senior coach Adam Simpson was unavailable due to a family illness.

Graham was also a development coach for St Kilda between 2012 and 2013 and the senior coach of East Perth in 2016 as a part of the Royals affiliation with West Coast at the time.

Executive general manager of football Peter Bell welcomed Graham to Fremantle.

“Jaymie is a highly respected coach who has developed a strong reputation within his coaching career for not only teaching the game but building close relationships,” Bell said.

“He has been involved with some very successful teams and has worked closely with some extremely talented players.

“We are really excited to welcome Jaymie and his family to our club.”
