Fremantle AFLW midfielder Brianna Green will miss the remainder of the 2018 season after scans confirmed a ruptured ACL.

Green injured her right knee during training on Thursday night prior to Saturday’s Optus Stadium clash in round two.

It is the first time the 21-year-old has suffered an ACL injury but she missed the majority of the inaugural 2017 season after breaking her collarbone against Brisbane in round two.
