Year 4-6 Girls Carnival
The Freo Dockers Cup is an interschool competition for female students in Years 5 & 6. The competition is played either as a one day lightning carnival (organised by individual schools or WAFC Development Officers) or in a round robin format (min 3 weeks). The modified rules allow for maximum participation, enjoyment and skill development.
RESOURCES PROVIDED:
- Freo Dockers Cup for each division winner
- 2 x synthetic footballs per school team
- Certificates and posters for all participants
Secondary (Year 10/11/12 Female)
Each year over 1,250 schoolgirls participate in the Freo Dockers Cup. 2023 marks the 27th year of the competition which is coordinated by the West Australian Football Commission and the Schoolgirls Advisory Committee.
Freo Dockers Schoolgirls Cup (Year 8/9 Female)
The Freo Dockers Schoolgirls Cup is an interschool competition for girls in Years 8 & 9. The competition enters its 6th year in 2023 and is coordinated by the West Australian Football Commission.
A Division: Strong football schools with home & away games played across the metropolitan area.
B Division: Schools of medium strength with home & away games played 'locally' where possible.
All schools that nominate receive a match ball to use during the competition.
