The Fremantle Dockers will spend two days in Geraldton and the surrounding areas as a part of their 2019 AFL Community Camp.
The community camp will run from Tuesday 12 February to Wednesday 13 February, with a focus on school, hospital and aged care visits as well as a number of events within the community.
Community Camp activities
Super Clinic
Freo will host a free NAB AFL Auskick ‘Super Clinic’ for children in pre-primary to year 6 at GBSC Sports Park on Tuesday 12 February from 4.15 to 5.30pm. Attendees should arrive by 4pm and everyone should bring a water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
Coaching workshop
Local coaches are invited to attend a free workshop on Tuesday 12 February at GBSC Sports Park from 5 to 6.30pm.
Sportsnight Function
A function dinner will be held at GBSC Sports Park from 7 to 9.30pm. This free event is open to the public and provides a great chance to mingle with players and listen to Q&A with Fremantle coaches and select players.
Dinner will be available to purchase along with a silent auction to raise money for the Brigade’s Football Club.

Business breakfast
The business breakfast runs from 7.30to 9am at Skeeta’s Café and will include a Q&A with AFL senior coach Ross Lyon, AFLW senior coach Trent Cooper and NCA Academy Coach Tendai Mzungu. Tickets are available for $50 and all proceeds will go directly to the GNFL.
