What is Fans & Community?
At the Fremantle Dockers, our Fans & Community team – known as F.A.C.E (Fan And Community Engagement) – represents the heart of our Club’s connection with people across Western Australia. We’re committed to building authentic relationships with our members, fans, and the wider community through meaningful, inclusive, and innovative engagement.
Our More Than Footy approach breaks down barriers to connection, reaching communities far and wide across our vast State. Through expanded regional engagement and the use of digital technology, we’re overcoming traditional accessibility challenges – bringing Fremantle Dockers staff and players directly into classrooms and communities where those opportunities didn’t previously exist.
Each year, we connect with over 1,000 schools through a range of education programs, competitions, and outreach initiatives – while providing countless opportunities for participants of all ages and backgrounds to interact with our AFL and AFLW playing squads. These experiences deepen the connection to our Club and reflect our commitment to making a positive, lasting impact.
At Fremantle, community is not just part of our identity – it is our identity. We’re proud to serve, support, and inspire through programs that reflect the spirit of Freo and a promise to be More Than Footy.
