The Fremantle playing group is determined to respond following a disappointing loss to Richmond on Sunday at the MCG, according to David Mundy.
The challenge is stepping up against St Kilda on Saturday night at Optus Stadium, with the Saints also looking to prove a point following back-to-back losses.
St Kilda’s lone win of the season came in round one against Brisbane, with a hard-fought draw in round five against GWS their only respite from a difficult start.

“We understand that sometimes leaving your home state and getting away from (Victoria) can be really galvanising,” Mundy said.
“We’re also determined to get back on the horse this week so we understand it’s going to be a fierce contest and they’re going to come out and give it all they got.
“They drew with GWS a couple of weeks ago, so they’re certainly capable and we’re not taking them lightly.”
Mundy doesn’t feel that Freo’s performance on Sunday was reflective of where the group is heading, with the team otherwise having a positive start to the season.
“I think, especially for this year, we can really be honest and we saw that that was a bit of an aberration,” Mundy said.
“Overall, we’ve been quite good this year and much more improved in the way that we’ve been playing our brand of football.
“That’s always the goal after big losses like that, to try and come back home and really bounce back with the way we want to play.
“We’re really clear about that and we understand it, it’s more about implementing.
“I think the path forward for us is very clear, the challenge is (performing) against a determined opposition.”
