Nat Fyfe’s stellar round five performance has seen the Fremantle captain surge to second in the Shadforth AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
The 2015 Brownlow Medallist earned the maximum 10 votes for the second time this season on the back of his 43 disposals against the Western Bulldogs.
Heading into round four, Fyfe was tied for eighth and eight points off the lead.
After five rounds, Fyfe trails leader Steele Sidebottom of Collingwood by three votes.
