Western Bulldog Lachie Hunter and Tiger Jack Graham have been offered one-match suspensions on charges arising from round four.
Hunter was charged with rough conduct after an incident in the third quarter of the Bulldogs' loss to Sydney on Saturday, when he rushed in while Swans forward Tom Papley was lying on the ground and shoved his head forcefully into the turf.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian assessed Hunter's conduct as intentional, low impact and involving high contact, triggering a one-match ban.
Graham was charged with striking Brisbane Lion Dayne Zorko during the third quarter of Richmond's victory at the MCG on Saturday.
Graham went to bump Zorko but hit him high with his right arm just after the Lion had launched a clearing kick.
The Richmond midfielder's conduct was judged to be intentional, low impact and involving high contact.
If Graham accepts the ban, he will be ineligible for the 2018 NAB AFL Rising Star award. The premiership Tiger was equal sixth favourite at $17 for this year's award on Monday afternoon.
Four other players were offered fines for incidents in round four games on Saturday and Sunday:
- Tiger Kamdyn McIntosh ($2000) for rough conduct against Lion Allen Christensen;
- Swan Dan Hannebery ($1500) for instigating a melee before the opening bounce of his team's clash with the Bulldogs;
- Carlton's Sam Petrevski-Seton ($1500) for misconduct against Kangaroo Jed Anderson; and
- Melbourne's Sam Frost ($1500) for misconduct against Hawk Isaac Smith.
Earlier on Monday, Adelaide captain Taylor Walker accepted a $2000 fine for striking Collingwood's Adam Treloar in last Friday night's game at Adelaide Oval.
Meanwhile, Essendon defender Patrick Ambrose, who is yet to play this year after fracturing his wrist, faces a longer wait on the sidelines after being cited for a dangerous tackle in the VFL.
The incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact, drawing a two-game sanction that can be reduced to one game with an early plea.
