South Fremantle defeated Peel Thunder by 34 points on Saturday at Rushton Park.
Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the six Fremantle listed players fared.
Josh Deluca
Played the game on ball and was really strong around the contest with eight clearances while kicking a goal. He was really good with his contested work and also his ability to spread forward.
Griffin Logue
Played full back on Ben Saunders for the game. It was a strong battle, keeping Saunders to two goals and eight possessions. Griffin was also able to take some really strong marks, ending with eight for the game as well as 20 possessions in a solid performance.
Taylin Duman
Played half-back and then went to the wing in the second half. Taylin was good with his spread and his work rate across half back and was able to start a couple of good offensive chains from deep 50.
Garrick Ibbotson
Played on the wing to start the game and then moved to the backline. Garrick was strong with his work rate across the wing, giving us some good rebound early in the game and was defensively strong in the second half.
Luke Strnadica
Rucked for the game with 48 hitouts where he was good with his tap work, centre square bounce work and follow up. He had four inside 50s and gave us some good first use around the centre clearances.
Ryan Nyhuis
Played back for the game where he was really solid with his defensive work. Ryan didn’t get a lot of the ball but he was able to have an impact on some key South Fremantle forwards in Blaine Johnson and Corey Dell’Olio.
