Fremantle face Essendon in their home and away season finale at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Freo will need to make at least one change, with Sean Darcy ruled out due to suspension.
Here’s who could come in for the clash.
Jon Griffin
Senior coach Ross Lyon highlighted Griffin as the “obvious” replacement for Darcy. Griffin has featured in six games in 2017, including Freo’s most recent win against Gold Coast, collecting 34 hitouts, 11 disposals and laying five tackles.
Lachie Neale
Neale missed his first game in more than three years in round 22 and is listed as a test for this week against Essendon. If he gets through training this week, Lyon said Neale would be a likely inclusion.
“We won’t know until later in the week but (a return) would be really good for him,” Lyon said.
Sam Collins
Lyon said that Fremantle struggled to exit the ball from their defensive 50 against Richmond, highlighting Collins as a potential inclusion to bolster a young backline.
The key defender has averaged eight marks per game for Peel in the WAFL, leading the league with 135 from 17 games.
Shane Kersten
A late withdrawal from Fremantle’s round 22 squad on Friday afternoon, Kersten is listed as a test to be available for selection.
With 24 goals from 19 games, the 24-year-old forward is one goal off the lead in Freo’s goalkicking.
Tommy Sheridan
Lyon highlighted Sherdan as a potential inclusion, crediting his hard work in Peel’s midfield. Sheridan has averaged 24.7 disposals, seven marks and 7.3 tackles in his past three appearances.
Taylin Duman
A quiet game last Saturday against East Fremantle bucked a positive trend for the rookie defender, who has been flagged by Lyon as someone he would like to play at AFL level prior to the end of the season.
