Fremantle forward Michael Walters has accepted a $1500 sanction for striking Hawthorn’s Tom Mitchell during Fremantle’s clash with Hawthorn at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
The incident, which occurred in the second quarter, was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact.
It was a second classifiable offence for Walters, which carries a sanction of $2500, but was reduced to $1500 with an early plea.
