Forward Cam McCarthy has accepted the two match suspension offered by the AFL’s Match Review Panel for engaging in rough conduct on St Kilda’s Sam Gilbert.
The incident occurred during the third quarter of Fremantle’s clash with St Kilda at Domain Stadium on Sunday and was assessed as careless with high impact to the head.
The charge carried a three-match suspension, which was reduced to two games with McCarthy’s early plea.
McCarthy, Nick Suban and Brady Grey were also cited for engaging in a melee during the second term.
All three have accepted their fines, with McCarthy and Suban fined $1,500 for a second offence and Grey fined $1,000 for a first offence.
