Peel Thunder continued their hot start to the season with an 86-point win over East Fremantle at Rushton Park in Mandurah.
Ten Fremantle listed players featured for Peel, who sit on top of the WAFL standings with two wins from the opening two rounds.
Senior development coach Marc Webb reviewed the Fremantle listed players in action.
Harley Balic
Playing on the ball, Harley was really clean and strong inside the contest and ended up with 11 clearances. Harley was composed and worked hard around the inside, and was effective with his skills.
Ethan Hughes
Played the majority of the game as a half-back and also played as a roll off defender. Ethan set up the play well and finished with 15 uncontested possessions from 20 disposals, helping Peel set up their rebounding attack.
Matt Taberner
Finished with seven marks and five goals. His five tackles were strong for a forward. Matt kept presenting all day and he worked up the ground well. He showed his versatility by going into the ruck for periods, and he was able to get on the end of a few uncontested marks inside forward 50.
Sam Collins
Sam played deep in the back line and was really strong with his defence, primarily playing against East Fremantle’s Matthew Watson. He was really good at working off his opponent and was good one-on-one in the contest. Sam was another who was strong at helping to set Peel up from defence.
Sean Darcy
Sean had a good ruck battle with East Fremantle’s Cameron Symonds, and finished the game with 43 hit outs and four clearances. Sean is working on making sure that he’s clean in the contest - but he followed up reasonably well and had some strong hits to advantage.
Hayden Crozier
Played the majority of the game at half-forward. Hayden had a run inside the stoppage and started well with his pressure and release. His work rate was solid around the contest, and kicked two goals while picking up a few possessions in the last quarter when he went on the ball.
Brady Grey
Played as a high-pressure forward, bringing outstanding pressure around the contest. He was really strong at hitting off the back and releasing forward – kicking one goal.
Brennan Cox
Played the majority of the game as a forward. He worked up the ground and was able to take four uncontested marks. He’s still working on leading at the ball carrier and his impact around the contest, but it was another solid contribution from Brennan.
Luke Strnadica
Playing mainly forward, Luke came into the ruck on occasions. He was competitive and had two really strong contested marks, leading to the ball carrier well and kicking two goals. Luke was very competitive when he went into the ruck and had nine hit outs.
Griffin Logue
Played as a high back for the majority of the game. Griffin was solid with his read off defence and was able to also use the ball effectively. He was strong one-on-one and was able to roll off and support his fellow defenders.
