The AFL has invoked its extreme heat policy for Saturday’s match between Fremantle and West Coast at Wonthella Oval in Geraldton.
The temperature is forecast to reach 41C during the day, with the game starting at 3:40pm.
The quarters will 22 minutes with no time on, with extended breaks of eight minutes at quarter time and three quarter time, and 22 minutes at half time.
