It will be more than a home opener when Freo take on Brisbane this Sunday 12 February at Fremantle Oval.

Fremantle and The Heart Foundation will team up to raise awareness for a cause that is close to home for both fans and players.

Heart Disease is the single biggest killer of Australian women, with women almost three times more likely to die from heart disease than breast cancer.

The Heart Foundation’s information stand will be located near the main gate where they will be collecting donations and encouraging fans to 'Lock in the Love'.

All fans are welcome to contribute to the ‘Lock in the Love’ installation by making a small donation and writing a message of love on a metal heart and locking it onto the sculpture.

You can dedicate your heart to your partner, to remember a loved one or to mark a milestone.

Whatever the reason, every love lock sold will help The Heart Foundation to save more hearts and more lives.

Fremantle’s home opener in the NAB AFL Women’s competition is expected to test the capacity of Fremantle Oval and fans are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee their entry.
