Luke Strnadica was a member of the AFL Academy and represented WA for the past two years at U18 Championships level.
Playing as a 201cm tall forward/ruck, he averaged seven disposals last year and 5.8 disposals this year. His highlight of the championships was his game against South Australia with eight disposals, six contested marks and three goals, while kicking four goals against Vic Country as well.
Strnadica played the majority of the year with the East Fremantle colts and in 12 games averaged 12 disposals, six marks (1.7 contested) and kicked 17 goals.
Strnadica had some dominant games as a bottom-ager at WAFL colts level, kicking 32 goals in 12 games – kicking six, five on two occasions and four against Subiaco. His strengths are his very good long kicking at goal, clean hands, game sense, strong contested marking and his 201cm size.
