With Matthew Pavlich resting ahead of his 353rd and final match, Fremantle will make at least one change to their team when they face GWS at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Peel had a bye on the weekend but a number of players showed promising form against East Perth in round 20.
Here’s who could be in the mix for Freo’s clash with the fifth-placed Giants.

Matthew Taberner
The key forward looms as an obvious replacement for Pavlich after two goals, 23 possessions and eight marks in Peel’s last match. Taberner has kicked 18 goals from 16 senior appearances in 2016 and is beginning to make the most of his strong fitness base. The 23-year-old will be looking to form a potent partnership with bullocking big man Michael Apeness, whose contested marking has been a feature.
Jack Hannath
The ruckman was solid in Peel’s last outing, gathering 18 possessions, 13 hit-outs, six marks and two goals. Hannath has rested forward in recent weeks to bolster the Thunder’s tall stocks and, like Taberner, is an option to replace Pavlich. The 25-year-old would also see his credentials boosted if Aaron Sandilands – who sat out the final quarter of last Sunday’s loss to Adelaide – fails to recover from a minor glute strain.
Tendai Mzungu
Mzungu was an emergency against the Crows after a stellar performance for Peel the week prior. The utility was tireless in gathering 36 disposals, 11 marks and a goal, and would bolster his team’s stocks against an impressive Giants midfield. Whether he has done enough to dislodge one of Fremantle’s developing midfielders remains to be seen.
