A number of Freo players put their hand up for selection consideration after solid performances for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.
These are some of the players whose performances have put them in the mix for a round 14 appearance against Collingwood on Friday.
Ed Langdon
The second-year player is coming off a strong performance for Peel Thunder against South Fremantle on Sunday. The pacey half-forward finished with 25 disposals, worked hard to get into a scoring position, and was rewarded with five goals against the Bulldogs.
Tendai Mzungu
Mzungu continued his good form in the WAFL against South Fremantle, finishing with the most disposals of any Freo player on ground. The hard running midfielder had 29 disposals, four tackles and three inside 50s on Sunday, and has averaged more than 24 touches and five tackles in seven games for Peel so far in 2016.

Garrick Ibbotson
Ibbotson played well across halfback in his return on Sunday. The Fremantle defender suffered a wrist injury in the club’s round 10 clash with St Kilda but performed well with 24 disposals and nine marks against a formidable South Freo forward line. Ibbotson could be a welcome addition in defence against a Collingwood team who have gone with a tall line-up the past few weeks.
Jack Hannath
Hannath missed Fremantle’s round 12 clash with Port Adelaide as Zac Clarke was able to ruck the majority of the day against the Power’s undersized ruck stocks. The same may not be the case for this week as Collingwood went into last week’s game against Melbourne with Jarrod Witts, Brodie Grundy and Mason Cox, each taller than 203cm.
Hannath is coming off 12 disposals and 12 hit outs against the Lions in round 11 as Freo’s second ruckman.
Clancee Pearce
After missing the past three games due to concussion, Pearce made a solid return to the WAFL level for Peel Thunder, finishing with 19 disposals on Sunday. Pearce has averaged 20 disposals a game at the AFL level in four games so far in 2016.
