The Fremantle Dockers Foundation was launched in June 2015 with the aim of securing our future and supporting the club on and off the field.

Key initiatives include the development of the club’s new elite training and administration facility at Cockburn Central West as well as support for the club’s important work in the community.

Since our launch we have had a great response from our members and supporters and we thank everyone who has donated to the foundation during the past year.

Through your generosity the club has been able to support many worthwhile causes. One such cause is Starkick, an initiative of the Coolbinia Bombers Junior Football Club.




Starkick is a volunteer-run program that provides an opportunity for children with special needs and all ability levels to play AFL football in their community, and is proudly supported by the Fremantle Dockers Foundation.

The joy of Starkick is that every weekend everyone can play. For parents who may have never thought their child and/or family could be part of an Auskick or a junior football club, they can participate and enjoy watching their child just like any other and be part of a fully inclusive and accepting program and club.

The Starkick program runs with a simple motto aimed at promoting participation, “If you want to play we will find a way”.

The passion and enthusiasm of the volunteers who make Starkick happen is inspiring and the Fremantle Football Club through the foundation shares their passion of inclusion and participation.

With the support of the Fremantle Dockers Foundation, Starkick’s goal is that one day every child no matter their needs, no matter where the live, has the opportunity to play the greatest game in the world.

The Fremantle Dockers Foundation is proud to partner with Starkick and to help make a difference to lives of children with special needs.

Through our members and supporters we can continue to support the important work of organisations such as Starkick.
