The Fremantle Dockers hit the track in balmy conditions at Fremantle Oval on Tuesday, for a session consisting of group work and full ground ball work.
Training started with warm up before player groups split into groups to do specific drills such as tackling, pressure goal kicking and ball movement.
Defensive coach Brent Guerra took a tackling drill and both Sam Collins and big man Michael Apeness found each other doing battle on multiple occasions, with both key position players acquitting themselves well.
Josh Deluca and Ed Langdon were putting each other under constant pressure in goal kicking drills, chasing each other down and attempting to force one another onto their opposite foot.
Players then came together and participated in exercises focusing on ball movement with players running hard from halfback and through the forward line.
Freo’s big men did battle on the wing throughout the drill, competing in the air and forcing the ball to ground.
