Clancee Pearce will play his first game since round two after being named in the TABtouch 22 for Saturday’s clash with Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium.

Pearce missed time due to a hamstring injury but will come back into the side after impressive performances for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

In Peel’s past two games Pearce was among the most prolific ball winners, gathering 30 disposals against Perth in round seven, and 35 touches against West Perth last week.

Talking points ahead of Hawks clash

Second year player Ed Langdon will play his first game for Freo since round four, and will look to continue his strong WAFL form where he’s averaged 28 disposals over the past three weeks.

Freo will face Hawthorn with two ruckmen as Zac Clarke was also named in the team.

Matthew Pavlich will be rested for Saturday’s game, while Michael Barlow has been omitted.

Zac Dawson was not named as part of the final team but will join Tendai Mzungu and Matt de Boer as emergencies.
