Fremantle Dockers fans have set a new standard in their generous contribution toward the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Following the 14th Starlight Purple Haze game, proudly supported by Fremantle Ports, on Saturday, the Fremantle Dockers are thrilled to announce that with the help of the Purple Army, we have surpassed the $1 million milestone in money raised for Starlight, since 2003.
Thanks to key contributions from the Fremantle Sirens, the Dowson Family in Kalgoorlie, your Purple Haze pledges and all those in attendance at the game, the total funds raised for Starlight this year was $181,769.80.
This contribution is also a Purple Haze record, smashing the previous record of $156,732.85 set in 2015.
The money raised in 2016 takes the total figure to $1,024,001.85 since 2003.
The Fremantle Dockers Foundation is proud to have the Starlight Children's Foundation on board as a Principal 'Friend of the Foundation'.
