In a new initiative for 2016, players and fans can make a Purple Haze Pledge to help raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation as part of fundraising efforts for the Starlight Purple Haze Game, proudly supported by Fremantle Ports.
The Starlight Purple Haze Game, which sees Freo take on Gold Coast in round 2 at Domain Stadium, helps raise funds for seriously ill and hospitalised children.
Your Purple Haze Pledge can be anything from donating $5 for every goal Michael Walters kicks during the Purple Haze Game or $50 if your friend wears a purple wig to the game.

The Freo faithful have shown to have generous hearts, raising more than $900,000 for Starlight during the past 13 years and we’re on track to break through the $1 million mark this year.
