As Fremantle made the trip to Merredin as part of the AFL Australia Post Community Camp, Brady Grey, Shane Yarran and Michael Apeness gave one young Freo fan a birthday present he wouldn’t soon forget.
Grey said he and his teammates surprised Noah Adamson, who turns eight on Tuesday, and then had a bit of fun with the rest of the kids.

“We came down to St Mary’s school in Merredin, and surprised young Noah with his birthday present and then had a kick with the kids on the oval,” Grey said.
“We spoke to them about having a healthy lifestyle and also signed a few posters as well.
“We had a great time and hopefully all the kids enjoyed it as well."
Grey said that while they were there to give the kids a good time, he personally took a lot out of the experience.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to come out into the country and see the different communities in WA,” he said.
“A lot of us haven’t experienced it before so it’s great for us to learn and experience something that we can really take back to the club.”
