The Fremantle Dockers Foundation is pleased to announce the introduction of seven new community organisations it will support in 2016 as ‘Friends of the Foundation’.
It is increasingly important for charities to develop new ways to raise awareness for the services they provide in the community. The Fremantle Dockers Foundation looks forward to sharing with our members and supporters the important work of the following organisations in 2016:
· Uni Camp for Kids
· Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Corporation – Respect Your Culture Schools Program
· The Big Issue
· Ngala Parenting
· Ronald McDonald House
· Starkick special needs football program
· Esther Foundation
In addition, the foundation is pleased to announce the elevation of current associate level partner Manna to principal level status following a successful year of activity with the club.
Support Manna at the Junior Christmas Party
The charity had a strong presence at the club’s 2015 community events and game days where fans donated school supplies, food items, warm winter clothes and blankets for Manna to distribute to the hungry, lonely, disadvantaged and the underprivileged of Perth.
Manna joins Redkite and the Starlight Children’s Foundation as principal ‘Friends of the Foundation’.
The Fremantle Dockers Foundation was launched in June 2015 to support the important on and off field work of the Fremantle Football Club.
