Classy midfielder Danyle Pearce says Fremantle’s preparation for Friday’s blockbuster Preliminary Final against the Hawks is the same as it has been all year.

Pearce said the side plays every game as if they are playing in a final.

“We’re not doing anything different, not changing strategies, we just approach this game like we have every other game,” he said.

“We want to make sure we prepare as if it’s our last game.

“There’s no added pressure, since round one we’ve played every game like a grand final.”

Pearce said he expected a vocal purple army at Domain Stadium on Friday.

“Our crowds are amazing, they’ve been amazing all year,” he said.

“When that Freo chant goes up it’s spine tingling and it gets the hairs raised on the back of the neck.”
