Fremantle defender Zac Dawson has been offered a three-match suspension, reduced to two with an early guilty plea, by the Match Review Panel (MRP) for striking Giants’ forward Jeremey Cameron in Sunday’s win.

Dawson was cited by the MRP for the first quarter incident that forced Cameron from the field with a bloodied face.

The MRP classified the incident as careless contact with high impact to the head.

Dawson can accept a two-match sanction and will be available to play North Melbourne in Round 21.

He and David Mundy also received $1500 fines for engaging in a melee in the fourth quarter.

Both sanctions will be reduced to $1000 with an early guilty plea.

GWS' Jeremy Cameron and Toby Greene have both been issued $1500 sanctions over the same incident.
