With a number of key players poised to return to the field in the second half of the year, Fremantle will aim to emulate its winning ways from the first half of 2015.

Fremantle sit atop the AFL ladder with 10 wins and one loss after the first 11 rounds, including wins over 2014 finalists Sydney, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide and Geelong.

The next 11 games will determine where Fremantle finish on the ladder and it is not an easy draw.

Break for body and soul

Freo will kick off its second half of the year with two home games including a Thursday night blockbuster against Collingwood and a Sunday afternoon game against Brisbane.

Soon after that Fremantle will face one of its toughest tests this year, a mouth-watering match-up with back-to-back reigning premiers Hawthorn in Round 15 at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

Both sides are considered top four contenders and it will be the longest road trip Fremantle make during the regular season.

Fremantle will return to the MCG for just the second time this year in Round 17 to face Richmond, the only side the side to have won the four points against Ross Lyon’s men.

The second Carlton Draught Derby in Round 20 looms as another exciting fixture against an in-form West Coast.

Dawson, who is recovering from a broken thumb, and Silvagni (hamstring) are expected to be available in four to six weeks.

All Australian Johnson is flagged for a potential return between Rounds 18 and 20.
