Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe says senior coach Ross Lyon instructed his troops to keep doing what they were doing as they came away with a scrappy seven-point win over Gold Coast.
It was very slippery conditions at Metricon Stadium and Fyfe willed Freo over the line with another outstanding performance, finishing with 31 possessions and two goals.

“It was a scrappy game, we’re not used to playing in these wet conditions,” Fyfe told Fox Footy.
“Full credit to Gold Coast, they really fought hard all day.”
Despite being a tight encounter all afternoon, Fyfe said Lyon wanted his players to trust themselves in the conditions.
“We dominated a lot of the stats…time in our forward half, possessions…he (Lyon) just emphasised to keep plugging away and trust our skills,” Fyfe said.
“It’s good to come away with a win and good to get a break as well.”
Fremantle remain on top of the AFL ladder with 10 wins and one loss, and will have the bye next weekend.
