North Melbourne loom as one of the biggest threats to Fremantle’s unbeaten start to 2015 even without captain Andrew Swallow, according to Nat Fyfe.
Fyfe is in line to play his 100th game against the Kangaroos at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
He said even though Swallow was ruled out of the game after he underwent surgery on a broken thumb this week, North Melbourne are a stiff challenge.
“Whatever (Kangaroos) team comes will pose a significant challenge,” he said.
Team first focus for Fyfe
“They’ve played really well against us in recent seasons.
“They are really well coached and have a run and gun style of game.”
Fyfe said he was disappointed that Swallow would not play.
“You want to see the best players playing, he’s a quality player and a quality person,” he said.
Fremantle play North Melbourne at Domain Stadium on Saturday 23 May. Bounce down is at 5.40pm.
