Skipper Matthew Pavlich and forward Michael Walters both trained unhindered on Wednesday, in a good sign they’ll be available for selection.
The pair, who are recovering from concussions, will still need to pass a test to be available for selection for Saturday night’s game against Essendon at Domain Stadium.
Both suffered head clashes in Freo’s 68-point win over Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday and played no part in the second half.
The star duo took part in goal kicking practice, with Lachie Neale, Chris Mayne and Matt Taberner, during a light training session.
It was light session for the whole group, coming off a six-day break ahead of the Bombers.
Players completed light handball and kicking drills.
Fremantle play Essendon at Domain Stadium Saturday 9 May.
