There are some hard selection decisions ahead for Fremantle with competition for spots heating up, according to senior coach Ross Lyon.
Despite the side heading into Saturday’s blockbuster against Sydney undefeated, Lyon said no player was a guaranteed starter.

“We like to reward performance but sometimes you’ve got to make hard decisions,” he said.
Lyon said Freo would not automatically pick the same 22 because of a win.
“You need to look at the balance of the team,” he said.
“As one player said to me, ‘I don’t envy you being the coach when there is competition’.”
Among those in the mix is Tendai Mzungu, who has performed well for Peel Thunder.
While Alex Silvagni and Tommy Sheridan both trained on Thursday and will be available.
