STAR Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe has given his strongest indication yet that he will remain at the club beyond 2014.
The out-of-contract 22-year-old has delayed negotiations on a new deal until the end of the season.
But Fyfe told Channel Seven's AFL Game Day on Sunday he wants to remain at the club.
"I love Freo," Fyfe said.
"I'm a West Australian boy… and I have no intentions of going anywhere."
Fellow midfielder David Mundy is also out of contract at season's end and has yet to re-sign.
But Fremantle is confident both Mundy and Fyfe will pen new deals with the club this year.
"We're really keen to keep both of these players," Fremantle skipper Matthew Pavlich said.
"They're critical for our success, both fantastic leaders. David is incumbent in our leadership group and Nat as he matures and continues to grow will certainly step up there.
"We are really confident we can keep them."
