Fremantle will take on Hawthorn on Saturday 12 July at Optus Stadium. Bounce down for the clash is at 6.10pm WST.
Tickets for the match are available through Ticketmaster, starting from just $39
Saturday's match will celebrate the ongoing hard work of WA's emergency services with pre-game tributes and activations involving WA Police, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, plus St John WA.
Michael “Son Son” Walters Halftime Lap of Honour
As Michael 'Sonny' Walters prepares to bid farewell to the game, we invite the Purple Army to remain in their seats during halftime to honour a true Fremantle legend.
From his debut in 2009 to his final game, Walters has been the heart and soul of the Dockers, amassing 239 games and 365 goals, earning All-Australian honours in 2019, and leading our goalkicking on five occasions.
His journey from Swan Districts to becoming a Fremantle Life Member is a testament to his resilience and dedication. Despite battling a persistent knee injury that sidelined him in 2025, Walters' commitment never wavered.
Now, as he takes his final lap of honour, let's show our appreciation for his unwavering spirit and the unforgettable moments he's given us. Cheer loudly and be part of this special tribute to Freo’s favourite Son Son.
One last lap. One unforgettable legacy.
