Sydney forward Lance Franklin has been offered a one-match suspension for striking Luke Ryan during the second quarter of Fremantle’s clash with Sydney at Metricon Stadium.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact.
In summary, Franklin can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
The MRO has also charged Swans defender Dane Rampe with Tripping Fremantle forward Michael Walters. Rampe can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.
