Josh Deluca and Cam McCarthy have been included in the Fremantle side that will face Hawthorn at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
Deluca will play his second AFL game while McCarthy returns from a two-game suspension incurred during Fremantle’s round 15 loss to St Kilda.
They come into the 22 for Brennan Cox and Luke Ryan, who were omitted for not meeting team standards.
Deluca impressed on debut in round 14 against Geelong, despite being hampered by an ankle injury picked up in the clash, resulting in the young midfielder spending a week on the sidelines.
The 21-year-old continued his form during the past fortnight in the WAFL and was one of Peel’s best last week against East Perth with 22 disposals and a goal.
McCarthy, who has kicked 17 goals from 14 AFL games in 2017, is likely to return to his role at centre-half-forward.
Cam Sutcliffe, Sam Collins and Matt Taberner have been named as Fremantle’s emergencies.
Meanwhile, Hawthorn have also made two changes to their starting 22.
Brendan Whitecross comes in alongside Conor Glass who makes his debut.
Kurt Heatherley and Kade Stewart have been omitted.
