WAFL Watch player stats - Saturday 9 July
Sean Hurley
Played full back for his first league game of the year. Was solid throughout and defended well. He just needs to get more game time after missing majority of the season with a hip injury.
Ethan Hughes
Played half-back and was solid in defence in his first game back from injury. He used the ball well under tough conditions.
Anthony Morabito
Played half-back and used the ball well in tough conditions. Rebounded strong from defence and provided run, which resulted in good inside 50m entries.
Zac Clarke
Played ruck all game and had 59 hit-outs. Despite the wet conditions he was still good at ground level with his follow up from the contest.
Matt de Boer
Played midfield and was hard at the ball all game. He was very good at ground level and surged the ball forward for us on many occasions.
Josh Deluca
Played mainly midfield and was very good. He hit the contest hard with 6 tackles for the day. In the wet conditions his surge mentality helped us go forward many times.
Shane Yarran
Played half-forward and tried hard in wet conditions. In a tough day for forwards he did some positive things and will continue to grow and develop each week.
